Service Description

The Applied Rifle: Proficiency course is designed for students looking to enhance their rifle platform handling skills in real-world defensive scenarios. This course focuses on weapon deployment, marksmanship, and dynamic live-fire drills that will build your confidence and efficiency. There will be a 1 Hour Lunch Break that will break the class up into 2 sessions. You will learn how to deploy your rifle quickly and accurately, transition between multiple targets, and engage threats while on the move. Additionally, you’ll master the critical skill of transitioning from your rifle to your sidearm and reloading efficiently, while learning how to properly utilize cover and concealment to your advantage in defensive situations. Key Skills Covered: Marksmanship Fundamentals: Master shooting accuracy through proper stance, grip, and the 4 points of contact. Weapon Deployment: Efficiently shoulder your rifle and engage targets from ready positions. Transitions from rifle to handgun. Getting rifle back into fight. Multiple Target Engagement: Learn how to quickly and effectively transition between multiple threats. Movement While Shooting: Improve your ability to engage targets while moving, maintaining both speed and accuracy. Cover and Concealment: Understand the differences between cover and concealment, and practice using both in various defensive scenarios. By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to deploy your rifle in dynamic environments and make fast, tactical decisions in defensive situations. Required Equipment: Rifle Platform with sling Sidearm and holster 3 rifle magazines (minimum) 2 pistol magazines (minimum) Ammunition: 300 (Rifle) 100 (Pistol) Eye and ear protection Proper attire (knee pads recommended) Prerequisites: This is an intermediate-level course. Students should already be familiar with the basic operation of their rifle and handgun.
